The Ghost Pepper Store started when we first read about the Bhut Jolokia and its record breaking, mouth burning heat. After seeing the reactions people had from eating this pepper we knew that we had to experience it for ourselves. Now that we have mastered the growing process of this very challenging plant we want to bring it to the masses. If you are interested in the one of a kind challenge of eating this pepper or the interesting and difficult journey involved in growing it, then this is the place for you!
Eating the ghost pepper is not something that everyone is going to enjoy. We recommend eating a ghost pepper fresh and unadulterated, but do so at your own risk. Please do not use our products as a practical joke against friends or loved ones. This pepper is beyond hot and it should not be forced upon the unsuspecting.
Growing this plant takes special care and is not recommended for the novice gardener. The main thing to remember when buying seeds is that this plant comes from a region with a very long growing season. This plant needs to grow for 150-180 days before you will see any fruit. Because the native region of this plant is warm and humid, we recommend a similar growing climate. Humidity will make a huge impact on the heat of the fruits, the more humidity the hotter the fruit.
